Lyndie's workshop is in desperate need of a new roof!
The workshop has been the home of many training courses and puppet building projects over the decades from 50 years of Little Angel shows to Spirited Away for Toho Stage to The Creakers for Plymouth Theatre Royal this Autumn - but its roof hasn't been updated since the 1950s when Mr West built commodes here for Heals furniture store!
Over the heads of our skilled puppet teams and our Curious trainees alike the summer heat beats down and the rain pours in through gaps left by winds and storms, buckets are set out each evening to catch the water. Its definitely time to upgrade...
We are thrilled to be working with Curious School of Puppetry and builder Jake Massey to preserve the unique workshop interior while planning a new insulated roof!
